This light compendium on Yasmin Sison’s works done in 2012 marks her solo show in Silverlens Gallery entitled 'The Domestic Life of Pictures'. In the introductory essay, Lisa Ito writes about Sison’s process of ‘appropriating images from print magazines and subsequently altering them through additional elements.’ This results into a horde of painted images of obscured and masked female characters, propped against the elegant fixtures of a refined household.
