Environmental issues such as solid waste management, global warming, mining and quarrying, ozone layer depletion, climate changes, pollution, biological diversity loss and deforestation have been the prominent agenda in international policy dialogues in education and in research. The need to integrate these environmental concerns in socio-economic planning is rapidly gaining wide recognition in many countries including the Philippines. The continuous creation of approaches to protect and find meaning in every aspect of the environment proves that environmental degradation is never-ending issue that results in a variety of studies, projects, and researches.
