An accompanying catalog to the exhibition 'Touch Me, Touch Me Not', Jon and Tessy Pettyjohn's exhibition named in the spirit of mischief and provocation. In this exhibition held at Silverlens Gallery, Manila in 2015, the Pettyjohns explore the possibilities of a truly Philippine material – clay: from Iloilo, Quezon, and Bicol. They transform these clumps of earth in their kilns into fantastical sculptures, subversive shapes, and functional wares that challenge their users to find beauty in the everyday.
