Taking off from Nick's Joaquin's first novel, The Woman With Two Navels, first published in 1961, this  auction at Leon Gallery curated by Ramon Villegas and Lisa Guerrero Nakpil resurrects questions on the search for Filipino identity. It features the works of various artists including Felix Resurreccion Hidalgo, Carlos V. Francisco, Fernando Amorsolo, Arturo Luz, Fernando Zobel, Jose Joya, Federico Alcuaz, H.R. Ocampo, Vicente Manansala, Ang Kiukok, Bencab, Alfredo Esquillo, Elmer Borlongan, among others.
