The Future of the Past, held at the Museo Nacional del Prado from 15 November 2022 to 5 March 2023, this volume of essays is edited by Felipe Pereda (Fernando Zóbel de Ayala Professor of Spanish Art at Harvard University) and Manuel Fontán del Junco (Director of Museums and exhibitions at Fundación Juan March and Director of Museo de Arte Abstracto Español de Cuenca), curators of the exhibition.
