Spanning an area of around 360,000 hectares in the province of Isabela, it is the largest protected area in the Philippines and is recognized as one of the 221 global key sites for conservation of biodiversity. This book maps the parks' climate and topography, flora and fauna, as well as the indigenous peoples who live and cultivate the area. It also discusses the conservation and management of the park, including the accomplishments and challenges that lie ahead.
