Dance and Other Slippages
'Dance and Other Slippages: Critical Narratives on Women, Dance, and Art' is a collection of essays by Rina Angela Corpus about works, spaces, and experiences of dancers and artists in the Philippines. It tackles questions in reading dance, art, and gender and looks into the complex entanglement of aesthetics, sexual politics, and material and economic realities that inform the works and practice of a number of Philippine women choreographers and dancers. It also contributes to the broader feminist theoretical discourse on spatial theory and analysis.
