An accompanying catalog of the retrospective exhibition Passages: Celebrating the Artistic Journeys of Betsy Westendorp held at the Metropolitan Museum of Manila in 2021. Westendorp (b. 1927) is a Spanish born artist who has lived in the Philippines since the 1950s. This catalog, written by Cid Reyes, documents over 100 of her paintings, spanning more than 60 years of her prolific art practice. It includes her portraits of the society elite in Madrid and Manila, Philippine landscapes and seascapes, Philippine flora, especially the native orchid, and her grand symphonic paintings of the Philippine skies.
