Pananaw 3
Pananaw is a Philippine contemporary art journal, launched in 1996 and publicly released in 1997 as an initiative of artists and cultural workers.
Pananaw 3's thematic focus is the Visayas island group. It contains articles on Negrense aesthetics, the telon, art organizing, mat weaving, international and centennial exhibitions, grants and awards, conceptual photography, found objects and the Cebuano modernist, Martino Abellana. Volume editor is Patrick Flores with Brenda Fajardo, Edward Defensor, Ma. Zenaida French, Raymund Fernandez, Estela Ocampo-Fernandez, Karen Ocampo Flores, Antonio Alunan Wenceslao, Alden Lauzon, Reuben Ramas Cañete, Ana Labrador, Flaudette May Datuin, Ringo Bunoan, and Eileen Legaspi-Ramirez as writers. Design and production supervision by Manny Chaves.
