A biography of the Filipina actress Mona Lisa (b. 1922) written by her granddaughter Celine Beatrice Fabie, this book tells the story of one of the most popular Filipina actresses of the late 1930s and 40s. Known by the screen name Fleur de Lis before and during the second World War, she has appeared in numerous films since the 30s until 2005 including Lino Brocka's Insiang, for which she won the FAMAS award in 1975. This book also includes a foreword by Clodualdo del Mundo Jr. and a filmography compiled by Cesar Hernando.
