This volume is a compilation of three screenplays by Ricky Lee with director Marilou Diaz-Abaya, both honored as National Artists of the Philippines for Film and Broadcast Arts in 2022. Included are scripts for Brutal (1980), Moral (1982), and Karnal (1983) as well as the stories behind the development of these texts.

This is the first book in the series of Lee’s screenplays released by UST Publishing House.
