Published in conjunction with the third .MOV International Digital Film Festival held in Manila in 2008, Cesar Asar in the Planet of the Noses is a collection of comic strips by brothers Mon Lee and Rox Lee, both considered pioneers in Philippine independent film animation. Cesar Asar first appeared in Manila Bulletin, a major daily broadsheet, in 1980 and ran for twenty years.
