An accompanying publication of the exhibition 'A Fact Has No Appearance: Art Beyond The Object' held at National Gallery Singapore in 2016, it focuses on three artists from Southeast Asia - Johnny Manahan, Redza Piyadasa, and Tan Teng-Kee - who were all active in the 1970s, a period of artistic experimentation and intellectual expansion about the meaning of art.
