Paying homage to Jose Rizal, Sedfrey A. Ordoñez writes Rizaliana by appropriating the characters of Noli Me Tangere and El Filibusterismo to explore and expand on the Filipino ethos. Compiled in the book are two one-act plays, Wounded Pearls (Mga Sugatan Perlas) and Seeds of Promise (Mga Binhing Pilipino), and a collection of twenty poems.
