Assembling over 70 artworks from Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam, this exhibition curated by Iola Lenzi showcases the visual brilliance and conceptual purpose of two decades of Southeast Asian practice from 1991 to 2011. Providing regional comparisons, it illuminates the common themes, aesthetic approaches and conceptual tendencies that have surfaced since the early 1990s.
