Ephraim Samson: Portraits of Filipino Artists
This book gathers portraits of Filipino artists by Ephraim Samson (b. 1947). A member of the Saturday Group of artists, Samson is noted for his portraits, still-life paintings and landscapes using various media. This book features over 60 portraits in watercolor of various artists including National Artists Napoleon Abueva, Fernando Amorsolo, Carlos 'Botong' Francisco, Arturo Luz, Cesar Legaspi, and Guillermo Tolentino. It also includes a biographical sketch of the artist by Paul Blanco Zafaralla and a foreword by Alfredo Roces.
