Venida, Endangered Splendor gathers significant buildings from the Spanish, American, and early Independence periods which have survived to this day. This volume focuses on districts located in the center of Manila - Intramuros, Binondo, San Nicolas, and Tondo. Aside from providing a historical overview, the book also includes detailed descriptions of the structures and their significance, current condition, as well as the challenges in their preservation.
