
At Home and Abroad
Geographical, cultural, and historical influences shape the Filipino identity and art in the Philippines. This exhibition 'At Home and Abroad' explores the contemporary art created by twenty Filipino artists from within the Philippines and abroad. This accompanying publication features an essay by curator Dana Friis-Hansen and includes a catalog of the exhibited works. The participating artists include Pacita Abad, Nunelucio Alvarado, Santiago Bose, Gaston Damag, Alfredo Esquillo, Brenda Fajardo, Mark Justiniani, Lani Maestro, Manuel Ocampo, Alwin Reamillo, and Sanggawa, among others.
