Vibal Foundation pays homage to National Artist for Visual Arts Francisco V. Coching by publishing his comic series Ang Barbaro as a full-length graphic novel.

 First serialized in Pilipino Komiks by Ace Publications, Inc. in 1950, Subas, Ang Barbaro was Coching's first epic tackling the theme of Filipinos revolting against Spanish colonial masters.

Digitally restored and colorized by Elvis Butihen, Ryan de la Cruz, and Kenneth Parungao.
