The highest award given by the Cultural Center of the Philippines, the Gawad CCP Para Sa Sining is given to outstanding Filipino artists and cultural workers who have consistently produced distinct works that enrich the development of their particular art form.

The 1994 awardees include Gregorio C. Brillantes (Literature), Gilda Cordero-Fernando (Publishing & Literature), Natividad Crame-Rogers (Theater), Cecile B. Licad (Music), Anita Linda (Film), Mauro Malang Santos (Visual Arts), Rosalia Merino-Santos (Dance), Teresita V. Pil (Regional Dance), and Movie Workers Welfare Foundation Inc. (Mowelfund).
