Corals of the Philippines: A Field Guide Focusing on Threatened Species by Yasmeen Smalley-Norman and Dr. Wilfredo Y. Licuanan documents vulnerable and endangered coral species in Philippine waters. Part of a research study conducted by Smalley-Norman from 2016-2017, with the assistance of Dr. Licuanan and the National Assessment of Coral Reef Environments Project team, this field guide contains 51 hard coral species, their close relatives, and similar-looking taxa. The corals were photographed in the provinces of Batangas, Palawan, Romblon, and Eastern Samar.
