Common Medicinal Plants of the Cordillera by the late Dr. Leonardo L. Co, renowned plant taxonomist and ethno-botanist, was first published in 1984 with the goal of educating community health workers all over the country on the use of common medicinal plants to treat common ailments. It documents more than a hundred medicinal plants in the Cordillera region, indicating their scientific and common names, botanical descriptions, illustrations and medicinal properties. The book is a valuable reference and is considered as a primary source of information on medicinal plants.
