Catalog of a solo exhibition by Eric Zamuco at Ateneo Art Gallery. The exhibition is composed of objects, photographs, sculptures and videos that serve as documentation of the artist’s travels and relocations, as well as recently created pieces rooted in Manila. The pieces present the artist’s experience of different places and spaces: the urbane and understated, the kitschy and chaotic. The exhibition is an attempt at, or in the artist’s words: “a hope for”, a kind of human order amidst the amassing of things, experiences, and memories. Includes an essay by Eileen Legaspi-Ramirez.
